Cafe El Dandy

Bar, cafe or paladar? This little place is pretty versatile.  It is a good place for dropping by when you are walking around Havana Vieja during the day. Or to start off your evening.

I prefer it for just a drink or coffee. The tapas dishes are ok, but not terribly creative. The rich and fatty spareribs with coleslaw will satisfy even the most hungry amongst you.

But more than anything I love El Dandy for its cool interior. It manages just that great art of looking randomly thrown together, even if there is sure to be a lot of planning behind every item. And El Dandy himself is looking down at you from behind the bar.
